More often than not, the pool is the first place one would head to upon checking in during a staycation. After all, where else would you flaunt your cute swimwear and perfect physique that you spent way too much time in the gym working out for? Leave no stone unturned, cover all your bases and stay in hotels that have the best pool views in KL.
Granted, we don’t have a pool in KL that offers sweeping views of the entire city like the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore. However, we’re certain that these pools in Kuala Lumpur can hold their own. They range from stunning infinity pools to ones that are perched in high-rise hotels with a great view of the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, and everything else in between.
Some of these hotel pools are even situated by the bar, which translates to one thing: drinks by the pool. Nothing better than spicing up your Instagram feed with some of the best pool views in KL and a cocktail (or mocktail) in hand. Ready to book your next staycation with a view and work on that tan?

Located on the rooftop of Hotel Stripes, the pool is flanked by a swanky bar and airy cabana. Order your drinks, pick a lounge seat, and take in the view of the KL Tower. While you can get your tan on during the day, the place comes alive even more during the nighttime when hot beats drop and strobe lights turn on.

This swanky new hotel is set to open to the public on the 1st of July 2018, which means that if you make a reservation quickly enough, you will be one of the first to Instagram the stunning pool. It’s sheltered, but the skylight still allows natural light and artificial night lights to seep through, creating some of the most amazing views of the Golden Triangle.

Yet another new hotel that is set to open within the year, the hotel is currently confirming reservations for arrivals from the 1st of August 2018. But a quick look at the hotel’s facilities shows that the Four Seasons’ pool in KL is set to be a gorgeous one. Sheltered, by the bar, and boasting a floating cabana, the hotel looks out to the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL cityscape. Go for a nightcap and stay for the pool view.

No staycation is done right if you’ve yet to book yourself into one of the most luxurious hotels to open in KL. Once you’ve checked into your suite, dined at Taka by Sushi Saito and ordered a glass of Louis XIII at Astor Bar, it’s time to head out to the gorgeous pool. If your drink at Astor Bar wasn’t enough, the pool is right beside Crystal, the swanky rooftop bar housing all the coolest people in town. Soak in the bar vibes and city views from the pool, bespoke cocktail in hand.

If this picture proves anything, it’s that you need to visit the infinity rooftop pool at The Face Suites during sunset for your photo-taking opportunity. The pool offers a panoramic, in-your-face view of the skyscrapers that are further amplified by night thanks to the whole city lighting up. Prepare to jostle with the rest of the hotel guests.

Out of the main city area and away from the hustle and bustle, it’s possible to still get a stunning view from a pool — especially when you check in to the Sheraton Petaling Jaya. Because it’s not within the city centre, you get a faraway, almost dreamy view of the city and its skyscrapers. If you’re able to, catch the sunrise from the rooftop pool and see the still-misty view — it is breathtaking. Otherwise, the nighttime view is equally as gorgeous.
