Thanks to Vistara’s recent expansion plan, travelling to your favourite destinations in India gets easier in 2017!
When the snow-covered peaks of Leh are about to melt and the winters begin to retract from Amritsar, Vistara will connect the two major metros of Mumbai and New Delhi to these two popular tourist destinations. Economical airfares along with top-notch service have always been Vistara’s strong point. Last year the airline won the Travel+Leisure India’s Best Award for the Best Domestic Airlines. Today, Vistara is the fastest growing full service carrier in India. In under two years, it has served 3.5 million happy customers, and after the launch of these two flights, the airline will have served 19 destinations.
Here’s a peak into what’s on offer this spring:
- Amritsar bound flights start on March 1 from Delhi (INR 1,799 onwards, one way) and March 8 from Mumbai (INR 3,699 onwards, one way) for six days a week, except Monday.
- You can book Leh flights only from March 25; only on weekends till the airline increases the frequency on the route in the summer.
Commenting on the network expansion, Mr. Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara, said, “An enormous number of pilgrims and tourists visit Amritsar throughout the year and the city also draws visitors from across the globe for its rich culture and cuisine. Leh is another special tourist destination that has emerged to be a favorite amongst millions of Indians. Its Buddhist sites, nearby trekking areas and amazing landscapes are increasingly finding place in the bucket lists of global and local travelers.”
Tickets are already available on sale on all channels including www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s iOS and Android mobile apps, and through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and travel agents.
