With ten successful Vande Bharat trains operating all over India, it’s time for the 11th Vande Bharat Express to run between Delhi and Jaipur. The services are expected to begin mostly by March 31, 2023, or by the first week of April. The travel time then, between the two metropolitans, will be reduced to less than two hours. It will be operated by the North Western Railway (NWR) zone and is going to be the first ultra-modern train in Rajasthan.
As per a published report by the Financial Express, the railway minister Ashwini Shaw has stated that the new Vande Bharat Express train will be arriving at Jaipur by March 24, 2023.
Vande Bharat Express to outdistance the travel time covered by Delhi-Jaipur-Mumbai high-speed expressway

One very significant point is that the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express is expected to overtake the Delhi-Jaipur-Mumbai high-speed expressway in terms of travel time, which is also supposed to decrease the travel time to 2.5-3 hours. At present, it takes around 5-6 hours to travel between the two cities.

The railway minister further shared that the aerial electric lines are at a towering height on the New Delhi–Jaipur railway route. The height is due to the regular double container trains that pass through the same tracks. This is why the pantographs have been specially designed.
A pantograph is mainly the connection between the overhead contact wire and the power circuit of a train and is located on the roof of a train. It further supplies the electricity needed to power the train.
