With the COVID-19 vaccination drive rolling out across the country and many Indians being fully vaccinated, several Indian states and union territories are now allowing travellers entry without the requirement to produce RT-PCR tests upon arrival.
Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Telangana are allowing entries without requiring travellers to take any COVID-19 test.

Meanwhile, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu will allow entries without RT-PCR tests, but not without some stipulated conditions:
- Delhi: Passengers arriving from states with a surge in COVID-19 cases must go through a random sample collection.
- Gujarat: If a passenger shows symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival in Ahmedabad, they will be required to undergo an RT-PCR test.
- Karnataka: For entering the state, travellers from Maharashtra and Kerala need to present a negative COVID-19 test report or proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Tamil Nadu: No tests or vaccination certificates are required to enter the state; however, IndiGo advises passengers flying to Coimbatore from outside of the state to carry a negative RT-PCR report issued not earlier than 72 hours before departure.

Rajasthan is allowing entries without RT-PCR tests for travellers who have had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In the case of Nagaland, travellers can avoid presenting the same if they have passed the initial 15 days after getting the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but a seven-day quarantine is mandatory.
Also, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Manipur, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tripura, and Uttarakhand are allowing entries without RT-PCR tests to fully vaccinated travellers.

Fully vaccinated travellers flying to the Meghalaya do not need to present their RT-PCR tests, but will have to register themselves at the government portal before their arrival.
Odisha, too, does not require RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Tests to allow entry, however, travellers must undergo quarantine upon arrival.
