MS Dhoni scored his maiden international century here at Vizag when the Indian team was playing against Pakistan. The then young player from Jharkhand scored 148 off 123 balls, which helped India score the win. Dhoni made another record here when he became the first-ever specialist India wicketkeeper to score a Test double century. Chennai has also been a favourite for the cricketer as he had many memorable moments here, whether it was for Indian Premier League of Team India or others. Dhoni’s test debut was made at this stadium, he has been the captain of IPL’s CSK team since its inception and the stadium is also where the star averages 100-plus in ODI’s.
