Japan is the best Asian Country for expats

While Finland (with an overall score of 31.27) tops the list of the best country for expats to live in, Japan, is the best country in Asia with an overall score of 26.66, reveals a study by William Russell. What’s more, while Japan features on the 32nd place overall, it still is the best country in the world for health, grabbing the top spot largely as a result of the high life expectancy of its people, at an average 84.4 years. What’s more, Japan also comes in at the top with a massive 13 hospital beds for every 1,000 people, where the global average is just 3.97 beds per 1,000 people. Japan’s total health score is also the highest at 7.8/10, against the worldwide average of 6.43/10.
Apart from Japan, the other two countries in Asia that expats can look to move to are South Korea and China, with overall scores of 25.47 and 24.70 respectively.

India tops in terms of the number of hospitals worldwide

While India features on the 45th spot in terms of health, the country tops the spot of the most number of hospitals, with a massive 69,000 hospitals in the country. This number is far above the global average of 3,049. The total number of hospitals worldwide is 1,86,004, which means that India houses 37.09 per cent of the developed world’s hospitals.
