For people who’ve been spending time off Facebook, here’s a head’s up. A contemporary performing arts festival has been taking over the country. Curated by The Park Hotels and Prakriti Foundation, The Park Hotels Contemporary Arts Festival is going on in six Indian cities. By Pallavi Mehra
The Park Hotels and Prakriti Foundation brings to you the 11th Edition of The Park’s New Festival, a six-city month-long contemporary performing arts carnival.
“For many years, The Park Hotels has been propagating compelling performances of celebrated artists. This year too, our endeavor is to bring in Anything But Ordinary acts for our guests,” said Ms.Priya Paul, Chairperson, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels.

The Park’s New Festival 2017 is on till September 21 at The Park Hotels in six cities – Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
The luxury boutique hotel chain, The Park Hotel have come together with Prakriti Foundation, which focuses on hosting events that celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage and showcases some of the best performers in the world.

This year, at The Park’s New Festival, we have contemporary dance, theatre and music performances. Highlights include a solo performance by Anuradha Menon (aka) Lola Kutty, an enthralling classical music performance by renowned vocalist Roopa Mahadevan and five contemporary dance performances:Folktale by Surjit Nongmeikpam, Architect of Self Destruction by Abhilash Ningappa, F4 by Virieno Christina Zakiesata, Urban Chaos by Parth Bhardwaj, and Hands & Face Project by Diya Naidu.

The Park’s New Festival begun in Chennai and continues in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
