Experts have stated that travelling, along with everything else, will change in the post-Corona world. One of the first instances can be seen onboard Qatar Airways flights, where flight attendants in hazmat suit will welcome you. By Kumar Shree
In an announcement made this week, Qatar Airways declared that its flight attendants will put on disposable hazmat suits, gloves, masks, and safety goggles over their uniform starting May 25. The idea is to prevent the spread of Coronavirus by limiting the interaction between crew members and passengers.

Passengers in business class will get a ‘Do not disturb’ sign. Even the meal servings in business class will see changes. The usual table setup has been put to rest for now, and the meals will come on trays. Cutlery will also come in a wrapped avatar.
Both crew members and passengers will have easily accessible hand sanitizer bottles in alleys.
As reported by New York Post, Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said, “As an airline, we maintain the highest possible hygiene standards to ensure that we can fly people home safely during this time and provide even greater reassurance that safety is our number one priority.”
An official statement released by Qatar Airways also says that its cabin crew has been wearing PPE equipment such as masks and gloves for several weeks now.

Apart from Qatar Airways, Philippine Airlines and AirAsia have also made it compulsory for their crew to wear PPE on duty.
