Focus on sustainability
The airport has a green terminal, with a double insulated roofing system and canopies to efficiently save energy. What’s more, it comes complete with LED lighting, low heat gain glazing and a lot more to cut down the consumption of power and help promote the green message.
Moreover, the airport will make use of natural sources of energy such as harvested rainwater and solar energy panels. The structure also houses a sewage treatment plant to efficiently clean up wastewater and make it usable.
A boost to the aviation sector
The Deoghar airport will allow for flights and helicopters to land here, enhancing the use of air carriers. It’ll help boost maintenance and security services, writes FirstPost. In addition, new jobs will be created in terms of cargo handling, maintenance, aerospace manufacturing and more, boosting both the actual industries and the education sector for the same.
