Canada took the leading spot for the category in the latest 2019 Best Countries Rankings by U.S. News and World Report. In fact, this is Canada’s fourth year in a row in the ranking’s top spot.
As reported by Vancouver Courier, the ranking is established in partnership with BAV Group and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in a “study that surveyed more than 20,000 global citizens from four regions to assess perceptions of 80 countries on 75 different metrics.”
The category uses nine metrics to arbitrate the country ranking: affordability, good job market, economic stability, family-friendly, income parity, political stability, safety, well-built education system and well-developed health system for the public.
Canada scored highly in various metrics like stable politics. Moreover, Canada was given a 10 for its advanced education system for the masses, as well as a 9.6 for its great public healthcare system.
