Phase 1 of terminal 2 will consist of 90 check-in keys, 17 security check paths, 15 gates for buses, and accommodation for a total of 25 million travellers every single year. It is certainly a huge number compared to the capacity of close to 3 crore passengers to date. Constructed at an expenditure of INR 5,000 Crore, the terminal is designated as an architectonic spectacle. It will amount to lush greenery in and out, and the experience for the passengers is drawn like a tour in the garden.
The peculiarly new terminal of Bengaluru airport is constructed on four gardening principles
This new terminal of Bengaluru has been constructed on four principles of gardening. There’s technology, sustainability, innovation, and the addition of the culture and art of Karnataka. The developmental multiplicity and exclusive art designs of South India and Karnataka will be promisingly displayed via the garden and its creative installations. The Bengaluru airport has already acquired the criteria in sustainability with 100% involvement of solely renewable energy from side to side of the terminal.
