Appetizer
The delectable appetizers at RCB Bar & Café take me on an unparalleled culinary adventure. Amongst the many mouth-watering options, two distinct dishes that truly stand out are the Sriracha Blush Maki Roll (INR 425 for four pieces, INR 750 for eight) and the Royal Challenger’s Flambée Wings (INR 415).
The Sriracha Blush Maki Roll, accompanied with an exquisite Kikoman Soy Sauce, is a tantalizing blend of flavours and textures. The captivating mix of spices and sauces makes it an ideal choice for vegetarians. The Royal Challenger’s Flambée Wings, on the other hand, leave me craving for more. The tender chicken wings are perfectly cooked, and the spicy barbeque sauce served on the side add a hint of fiery zing to the overall experience.
If you are opting for the à la carte menu, try the Prawn Ghee Roast (INR 605) and Shrimp Dynamite (INR 605), both of which are sumptuous!
Main Course
The mains are a meat lover’s paradise that tilt on an abundance of flavours. Among the myriad of choices, The Royal Challenger’s Biryani Chicken (INR 480), accompanied by a refreshing raita and spicy salan, is delicious!
The harmonious blend of spices in the Coastal Fish Curry (INR 650), which is served with red rice, takes me to a world of coastal bliss. From the quintessentially Kashmiri tender Mutton Rogan Josh (INR 660) to the Punjabi-style creamy Paneer Lababdar, the aromatic Egg Roast to the zesty Thai Green Veg Curry (INR 540) – each dish promises to be a sensory delight.
Dessert
The Sun & Scotch buffet at RCB Bar & Café offers an array of desserts, including the decadent Gooey Chocolate Brownie (INR 350), Blueberry Cheesecake (INR 350) with its luscious cream cheese filling and tangy blueberry topping, and more. However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the Fruit Tart.
The buttery and crumbly biscuit base forms a perfect foundation, adding a layer of texture to the medley of fresh and juicy fruits such as plum, dragon fruit, and strawberry, delicately arranged on top. The airy balance of sweetness and citrus notes is a feast for the senses.
Drinks
The drinks offered at RCB Bar & Café are a testament to the mixologists’ creativity. The drinks are unique and offer an enticing take on classic cocktails. Each concoction is infused with flavour, while the ingredients pay homage to the vibrant city of Bengaluru, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind drinking experience.
While the Sun & Scotch brunch provides guests with the freedom to choose from a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, I find myself drawn towards the signature cocktails like the Green Apple Sour, Curry Leaf Negroni, and the Fonda-Lina which are unmatched in their complexity and depth. With each sip, I can taste the distinct notes of spices, fruits and herbs infused with the richness of premium spirits
