Chef Sharma is a record holder for having over 600 egg recipes in his kitty and was also a participant on the first season of MasterChef India. Egg Dee has several outlets all over Jaipur, so if you’re ever in the city do drop by for a flipping good omelette.

Rustom & Co. has been an iconic Iranian ice-cream parlour known for its scrumptious ice-cream biscuits since 1953. Started by Khodabux Rustom Irani, earlier as a departmental store, it was later turned into an ice-cream stopover, thronged by people generally after a stroll on the Marine Drive. Initially, the store had only classic flavours like vanilla, chocolate, walnut crunch, pineapple, raspberry, etc., but if you visit there now, you’ll find some of the most mouth-watering experimental flavours, like cocoa mint crunch, toffee crunch and more. Over a century old Jewish bakery, Nahoum and Sons, is the last of its kind. It was founded in 1902, in British Calcutta by Nahoum Israel Mordecai, a Baghdadi Jew, who initially used to sell baked goods from door-to-door, but later came up with this name in 1916. Till date, the bakery has retained its old-world charm and original interior and is well-loved by residents and tourists alike for its traditional delectable recipes. For anyone with a sweet tooth and a weak spot for sponge cakes and confectionaries, this is the place to visit in Kolkata.
