When in Langkawi, the Umgawa Zipline Adventure has to be on top of your bucket-list. This adventure trail consisting of 12 ziplines has a few lines as long as 200 m, some of them soaring over the Seven Wells waterfall. The zipline offers panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and that of Langkawi as you soar above the rainforest canopy. The experience is surreal and is definitely recommended.

Just to give you a gist of what to expect from this one — the Langkawi SkyCab — is the longest free span mono-cable car recognised by The Malaysia Book of Records. The steepest cable car in the world takes you from the base of the 550-million-years-old Machincang mountain to its top. The exhilarating and unique ride offers an expansive view of the flora and fauna around. Not to mention, the stunning Andaman sea in the backdrop adds much wow to the entire view. Once on top, you can also walk on the Langkawi Sky Bridge and absorb more of the view.
Ace That Visit: Do check the weather forecast before visiting, as poor weather can disrupt the operations. Opt for a glass-bottom gondola for an elevated sense of height and thrill. Buy the express lane tickets for swift movement through the line.
3. Jet Ski Tour

Island hopping on a jet ski is one of the best and most thrilling ways to navigate Langkawi. Hop on a jet ski to witness the otherwise inaccessible parts of archipelago. Make sure to mark a stop at the second largest of 99 islands, Dayang Bunting, and take a dip in its freshwater lake. This is one of the uninhabited islands and is lush with abundant flora and fauna.
4. Explore The Local Market

Explore the local markets in Langkawi to get a gist of the local foods and apparels. Duty Free Shopping At The Zon Duty Free Zone and Roving Night Market are two options that you must explore. Apart from these, do try out the street food from the market opposite The Zon. Grab a serving of Nasi Lemak (a rice dish cooked in coconut milk and wrapped in Pandan Leaf) from the market, pair it with a tumbler of Milo, and top it all with fried ice-cream. Your street-style dinner is done. Also, definitely try out the Roti Canai and Teh Tarik if you still have some space left.
