Famous for the low bending palm groves, this beach has a rope swing hanging right in front of the Dream Cabana guesthouse, offering a full view of the beach. Sunrise and sunset qualify for the perfect light to capture this Insta-worthy view.
2. Nevis Swing, Queenstown, New Zealand
The world’s biggest and most famous Nevis Swing in Queenstown, New Zealand, is not for the faint-hearted. Situated at a height of 134 metres, this arced swing takes you above the canyon at a speed of 120 kilometres per hour. Upon reaching the elevated launchpad, you are suspended mid-air, which in no time gets the adrenaline pumping. Willing to try but scared as hell? How about propelling in the middle of a Cambodian jungle? No, we are not kidding! Hop on to the Waterfall Swing at Phnom Kulen National Park, for a breathtaking view of roaring streams gushing down the pool and take a dive to enhance the experience. The floral decoration on the strings only adds up to the beauty, making it worth a click. Although the swing cannot fly that high, it still qualifies for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The ‘Adventure Capital’ of Ecuador, Banos, has a special swing hanging at La Casa Del Arbol (The Treehouse), at a height of 2,600 above the sea level. This treehouse was originally built to monitor the seismic activity of the nearby active volcano, Tungurahua. Later on, the swing gained popularity for providing a view of the spectacular Ecuadorian Valley and Mt Tungurahua.

This Guinness World Record Holder super swing suspended from a rainbow-coloured huge frame, is situated at Yunyang Longgang Scenic Spot. With a 328 feet tall arch and 354 feet tall launching tower, the swing reaches 230 feet above from the edge of the cliff, at a 90-degree angle, and makes a 2,300 feet drop, at a speed of over 120 kilometres per hour. It is said to be the most thrilling and challenging swings in the world but comes with the view of the beautiful Shisun River. Another fact that makes this swing both interesting as well as scary is that it is said to have the capacity to withstand an earthquake of 10 magnitudes and high winds.
6. The Terror-Dactyl Swing, USA

If you are touring in the western USA, do not forget to visit the Cave of the Winds mountain park, for a Terror-Dactyl ride, that is hoisted up 200 feet high from a cliff, giving a clear view of Colorado. As the name suggests, it can be terrifying but is worth a shot.

Also known as the ‘ocean swing’, it is the oldest swing in Indonesia’s Gili Trawangan Island. It is owned by Hotel Ombak Sunset and never fails to attract tourists.
