One of Puglia’s most picturesque towns, Polignano a Mare is an important sea-side ancient settlement. Positioned on the Adriatic coast, it originates at the edge of a craggy ravine pockmarked with caves. It’s well known for its Cala Porto beach, which is bordered by the roman bridge. Polignano a Mare is not just a small coastal town rising out of the cliffs, but it makes for a perfect place to visit.
