This dense forest spanning 10 kilometres, is surely a retreat for nature admirers and children during broad daylight. But it takes an entire 360-degree turn during moonlight. It becomes a true-blue nightmare for anybody stepping into the forest at night. The creepy older women in white and the horrifying laughs of the children might just chase you into the dense darkness. Although the Delhi Cantonment is considered one of the most secure areas of Delhi, it is doubtlessly not at all safe from electrifying existences. There was a time when this place was occupied by black magic and black magical water which aroused people to take their own lives by drowning. This 104 feet levelled step-well spreads a creepy ambience the more you step forward. It is said that you tend to feel the existence of some unseen beings around you.

There have been several stories about the existence of Jinns in this 14-century Fort. Although a hustle-free environment there, peaceful yet creepily peaceful, every Thursday, during the evening, there are gatherings of people where they try and please the Jinns, with a belief that they are still ruling this haunted place in Delhi. Many of these people have recalled incidents of being randomly thrashed and slapped along with an appearance of some sort of fragrance out of nowhere. Hauz Khas Village is considered one of the idealistic nightlife and party places in Delhi but surprisingly, it is also one of the prominent haunted places in Delhi. With a well-built establishment in the area, it maintains the old-school attraction of Delhi including the latest constructions in that area. The Chor Minar is the entire complex is one such sculpture that has been contemplated for years now. The walls of the upper section comprise holes and those very holes are said to be the heads of the thieves who were penalised back then. Now, it is said that the ghosts of the thieves terrify the area.
