Dindi is a small village along the banks of River Godavari in the Kondicionali district of Andhra Pradesh. This place is thick with a dense range of coconut and palm trees, and the sub-urban setting makes it even more calming for tourists. While tourists prefer to spend relaxed time in Dindi, being cosy in their resorts, and taking a lazy stroll by the beach, there are, however, a few places around the village which you can check out for a wholesome trip.
It is a landmark location where the waters of River Godavari unites with the Bay of Bengal, painting a splendid view. Witnessing the easy winds and the sunset colours gently intertwining with the sea is a breathtaking experience at this beach. With little to no crowd, this can be your sought-after romantic spot for a perfect proposal.
The Antarvedi Narsimha Temple, also popularly known as ‘Dakshina Kashi’ is a celebrated pilgrimage site along Eastern Godavari. Since the temple sits at the confluence, the water around this area tastes sweet and it is marked as a sacred bathing spot, too. The temple is open on all days from 06:00 am to 07:00 pm.

The best season to visit Dindi is between July to September. While a winter trip may still be pleasurable, it is better to avoid visiting during peak summers due to high humidity levels.
