Coming 2021, you can book a stay at an all-adults’ resort in the Maldives for an entire year, for USD 30,000 (approximately INR 22,28,197), which would cover the cost for a two-person overwater bungalow at a private island, breakfast and airport transfers. Moreover, you’ll also be given discounts on activities including Ayurvedic spa treatments, water sports and Maldivian cooking classes.

The latest offer comes in light of the Maldives Border Miles, a three-tier tourist loyalty programme, announced in September this year for 2021, with levels including, Abaarana (Gold), Antara (Silver) and Aida (Bronze). “Maldives Border Miles is a three-tiered loyalty programme for tourists. Tourists will earn points based on the number of visits and duration of stay. Additional points will be awarded for visits to celebrate special occasions,” the Maldives Immigration had earlier tweeted.
As of November 19, 2020, the Maldives has recorded a total of 12,384 cases of Coronavirus, with 11,406 recovered patients and 933 active cases.
