Ajeet Bajaj is the founder and visionary behind India’s leading adventure tourism company—Snow Leopard Adventures. An advocate of the “leave no footprints, take only photographs” policy, he suggests being “culturally sensible” at every destination. The Padma Shri awardee is also the first Indian to complete the Polar Trio by skiing to the North Pole, the South Pole, and the Greenland Ice Cap. Bajaj, along with his daughter Deeya, climbed Mount Everest on May 16, 2018, thus becoming the first father-daughter duo to achieve the feat. Bajaj is on a mission to make adventure tourism accessible to the public in a safe and sustainable manner. “Leave the place cleaner than you find it,” he urges.
“India is my favourite mountain destination. We’ve got diverse mountain ranges, starting from Jammu and Kashmir to Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.”
