Macau hotel blast injures 13

At least 13 people were injured in a suspected gas explosion at a hotel in Macau yesterday morning. The incident occurred at around 7am Tuesday morning at the 483- room Hotel Golden Dragon, close to Fisherman’s Wharf and Sands Macau. The force of the blast is reported to have smashed the glass in the hotel’s main entrance. Xinhua reported police as saying that eight of the injured have been sent to hospital.
