Pottery park to rise in Hoi An

A new terracotta culture park is being developed in the central Vietnamese town of Hoi An. Local news portal, Vietnam+ reported that the park is being developed by NhaVietCorp, in collaboration with Hoi An City authorities, with an investment of VND22 billion (US$1.1 million). The 5,800m2 Thanh Ha Terracotta Cultural Park, which is due to open in 2-013, will be located in the traditional pottery village of Thanh Ha, which dates back 500 years. Features will include a pottery museum, outdoor exhibition space and performance stage.
