The Times of India reported that the three blasts occurred within a deadly 10-minute spell, ripping through three of the city’s busiest areas - Zaveri Bazar, Opera House and Dadar – between 6.55pm and 7.05pm last night. India’s Home Minister, Palaniappan Chidambaram told reporters that the lasts were a “coordinated attack by terrorists”. The attacks are the deadliest in Mumbai since November 2008, when 166 people were killed in a coordinated raid on hotels, restaurants and other targets.
