Published on May 26, 2011

International flight services will return to Japan’s quake-hit Sendai airport in late June, the country’s Transport Ministry was reported saying this week. According to Kyodo News, the airport will relaunch with international charter flights and aims to restart scheduled services on 25 July. Airlines including Korea’s Asiana Airlines and Taiwan’s EVA Air operated services to Sendai prior to the 11 March disasters.
