
Wi-Fi planned for Tokyo subway trains

Japanese commuters will be able to access a high-speed internet connection on the Tokyo subway from early 2012. Broadband service provider, UQ Communications Inc, has reached an agreement reached with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Metro Co, Kyodo News reported on Saturday. The service is expected to be available on all trains, extending a service that is currently available on train platforms.
