No risk from Japan travel

Several United Nations agencies, including the World Health Organization, have said that radiation levels from Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi plant do not present health hazards to air passengers or crew. The UN said that radiation monitoring around airports and seaports in Japan confirms that levels remain “well within safe limits from a health perspective”. In addition, monitoring of passengers, crew and cargo from Japan carried in other countries do not suggest any health or safety risk, the UN said.
