Laos seals NZ tourism training partnership

The Lao National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality (LANITH) and New Zealand’s Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) have entered into an agreement in which PIHMS will share its teaching best practices with the Asian country.
Located in New Plymouth on the North Island of New Zealand, PIHMS has been operational since 1995 and offers diplomas, degrees and postgraduate level programmes in a variety of hospitality and tourism subjects.
The PIHMS-LANITH deal will now see PIHMS provide a three-month 'train-the-trainer' programme at its campus in New Plymouth for select LANITH team members; subject content in support of LANITH’s educational curriculum development process; and PIHMS accreditation of a select number of LANITH graduates to further their studies at the bachelor degree level.
