Accor has announced plans to open 18 new hotels, with 4,850 rooms, in the Middle East region over the next three years. The European hospitality giant will launch 11 new properties in the UAE, three in Syria, two in Bahrain and two in Saudi Arabia.
Christophe Landais, Managing Director of Accor Middle East, said; "We have experienced sustainable progress in the region's tourism and hospitality industry in 2010. With 2011 upon us, we plan to build a new image of the UAE as an affordable destination.
