Thailand’s Minister for Tourism & Sports, Chumpol Silpa-archa, has said that Tuesday’s fatal bomb in Bangkok’s northern suburb of Nonthaburi is unlikely to have any impact on tourism. According to a Bangkok Post report, Silpa-archa conceded that the bombing might have “some psychological effect” on tourists, but the fact that no country raised its travel alerts for Thailand meant that it tourism wouldn’t be badly affected.
