SIA plane forced down by bomb scare

A Singapore Airlines (SIA) plane flying from Moscow to Singapore was forced to make an emergency landing in Kolkata on Sunday after a bomb scare, AFP reported an airline offi cial as saying. The plane, carrying 265 people, was reportedly forced to continue to Kolkata after being refused to land in Delhi. The bomb alert was received by Russian police, and the plane and all baggage was searched on landing in Kolkata.
