Underground rail to connect Malaysia, Singapore

Plans are being drawn up for metro rail link connecting Malaysia and Singapore. The New Straits Times this week reported Johor’s Chief Minister, Abdul Ghani Othman, as saying that a feasibility study was being carried out for the construction of an underground tunnel from Tanjong Puteri in Johor Bahru to Woodlands in Singapore. The tunnel is expected to be completed by 2018.
