Hotels to blacklist guests

The days of taking towels and petty thievery from hotels could be drawing to a close with the invention of GuestScan. The new online database invented by UK entrepreneur allows hoteliers to blacklist unwelcome guests and check guest credentials when they book a room. As many as 10,000 properties, most of which will be small hotels and B&Bs, are expected to subscribe to the service. Guests who are blacklisted will be notified and hold the right of appeal.
