Flights disrupted by Kolkata strike

A general strike, or ‘bandh’, has left flight schedules to and from Kolkata’s Nataji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in tatters today. Kingfisher Airlines has announced the cancellation of 29 services, including key routes to Mumbai and Delhi, and the international service to Dhaka. Jet Airways and its low-cost subsidiary JetLite, have been forced to cancel more than 60 fl ights, including the international service to Bangkok. Train services have also been hit by the 12-hour action.
