Thousands of people rallied in Hong Kong on Sunday to demand justice for victims of the Manila tourist bus siege. According to a Channel NewsAsia report, demonstrators voiced their anger over the Philippine government’s handling of the last Monday’s siege, which led to the deaths of eight tourists. Philippine authorities said yesterday that the hostages were killed by Rolando Mendoza, rather than by police bullets.
