Four people have died and more than 64,000 were evacuated in China as heavy rain caused major flooding along the North Korean border, Channel NewsAsia has reported. The Yalu River, which forms the border between the two countries, burst its banks sending floodwaters into settlements on both sides of the frontier. Approximately 230 homes collapsed in the Chinese city of Dandong, local media reported, while some transport and communication links have been cut off.
