New Vietnamese airline to take-off

Vietnamese third private airline, Air Mekong, is scheduled to launch its first flights on 10 October 2010. According to the Vietnam News Agency, the carrier will fly from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to Danang, Nha Trang, Dalat and Phu Quoc. It has also requested permission to fly from HCMC to Con Dao, Buon Me Thuot, Hai Phong and Vinh. The airline will operate a fleet of leased Bombardier CRJ 900s.
