Colombia passenger plane crashes

A Colombian passenger plane has crashed while attempting to land on a Caribbean island. According to reports, one person died and 114 people were injured when the Boeing 737-700, operated by Aires SA, crashed on the Colombian-owned island of San Andres, en route from Bogota. Reports suggest it may have been hit by lightning during its descent. Boeing has said it is sending a team to Colombia to help with the investigation.
