United Arab Emirates, Thailand and the USA are the most likely places for foreign criminals to be arrested according to a report from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). According to the FCO, a total of 7000 British nationals were arrested overseas last year. Typically, alcohol and drugs played a role in the majority of cases, with most tourists and business travellers opting to avoid organised crime. It has added to an ongoing debate in the UK over the behaviour of Brits abroad.
