Air bridge collapses at Taiwan’s main airport

An air bridge at the second terminal of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport collapsed Monday afternoon, but no injuries were reported. According to a Taiwan news report, the collapse took place while airport staff were preparing to receive business class passengers arriving on a Singapore Airlines flight. The bridge was scheduled for maintenance that day, after one of its motors malfunctioned. Fortunately nobody was on the bridge at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
