New exhibits on show at Hiroshima museum

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum has opened an exhibition displaying more than 100 artifacts donated by survivors of the 1945 atomic bomb and their relatives. According to a Japan Times report, the museum has selected 124 items for the free exhibition, which will run until 12 June 2011. These include a charred school uniform donated by Yasuko Wada, who was about 700 metres from ground zero when the bomb was detonated.
