Jetstar trials inflight iPads

Jetstar has announced it will trial the iPad for onboard entertainment, becoming one of the first airlines in the world to do so. The iPads will be rented out on select domestic Australian routes at a charge of AU$10 (US$8.50), providing in-flight entertainment with movies, TV programmes, eBooks, music videos, games and CDs.
Jetstar Chief Executive Officer Bruce Buchanan, commented; “Given the demand for the iPad so far, I anticipate it will have strong appeal amongst our passengers... It’s important that we can provide the latest in innovative technology to entertain our customers on board.”
