The Thai government has extended the curfew in Bangkok and 23 provinces for a further two nights, as it tries to quell further violence. The 8pm to 6pm curfew was in place for a second consecutive night last, and will be in force again on Friday and Saturday nights. The death toll from Wednesday’s violence has risen to 14, following the discovery of six bodies inside a Bangkok temple.
