Emirates A380 to return to New York in October

Emirates’ Airbus A380 will return to New York on 31 October, the airline has announced. The aircraft’s reinstatement on one of Emirates’ double daily Dubai-JFK services follow an upswing in demand. The aircraft was removed from the trans-Atlantic route 12 months ago, following a reduction in demand caused by the global economic crisis. Emirates currently operates eight A380 aircraft, serving London, Toronto, Paris, Jeddah, Bangkok, Seoul, Sydney and Auckland. A380 services will also be launched to Beijing from 1 August and Manchester from 1 September.
