Rare sharks on display at Dubai Aquarium

Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks, among the most difficult species to be featured in aquariums, are now on display at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. The sharks were conditioned in specialised pens from a young age in Taiwan and then grown to optimum size before the international transit was
attempted. This was then followed by a five-month acclimatisation process at the aquarium. Visitors can now view the Scalloped Hammerhead sharks in the 10 million-litre tank, along with other shark and ray species.
