5/13/2010
Excavators have discovered a further 114 Terracotta Warriors at a pit in China’s Shaanxi province, China Daily has reported. The clay warriors, ranging in height from 1.8m to 2m, were painted with black hair, green, white or pink faces, and black or brown eyes, archaeologists said. They were unearthed at the largest pit within the mausoleum complex. Photographs of the new find are expected to be released later this month.
