Island disappears in Bay of Bengal

An uninhabited island in the Bay of Bengal, just south of Bangladesh, has disappeared, the BBC reported scientists as saying. The island, known as New Moore Island in India and South Talpatti Island to the Bangladeshis, has been submerged by rising sea levels, according to the School of Oceanographic Studies in Kolkata. Its scientists now believe that other nearby islands could also vanish as sea levels rise further. of Haneda’s new offshore runway, the 2,500m-long Runway D, near the mouth of the Tama River has been completed. The new cameras have the capability to identify a jet ski 3km from shore in bad weather conditions.
