China opens National Water Museum

The National Water Museum of China opened on Monday, the China Daily has reported. Located in Hangzhou, the 36,500m2 steel and glass complex, complete with 129m sightseeing pagoda, will showcase Chinese water science, the country’s changing water ecology and water conservation efforts. The opening coincided with World Water Day 2010.
