KL prepares for F1 with week-long festival

Kuala Lumpur will host round three of the FIA Formula One Grand Prix World Championship next month. To mark the event, the Malaysian capital will host visitors at the week long Kuala Lumpur Grand Prix (KLGP) Festival, which culminates on 4 April with the race at the Sepang International Circuit. The festival will kick-off with the eighth Vintage & Classic Car Concourse in KL city centre on 27 March. Other attractions will include an F1 simulator challenge; Petronas go-kart experience; Mercedes heritage car demo, and live performances by local artists. The ‘Gilded Garage Gala’ evening event will see celebrities, corporate leaders, as well as drivers gather for a glitzy party.
