Published on Mar 12, 2010

With political unrest likely to return to Thailand this weekend, The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourist Police, the Thai Hotels Association (THA), the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA), and the General Insurance Association, will be jointly launching a new ‘Tourist Assistance Center’. The new centre will monitor events and produce updated news on developments on the situation in the country. The facility will be housed at the TAT’s head office in Bangkok.
