Although the Lunar New Year is one of the most important holidays for many families around Southeast Asia, more and more young adults are choosing not to spend the extra time with their parents. To encourage the younger generation to think about what this might mean, Jetstar posed the question: would you take a free air ticket if it meant having to fly on the holiday? You can see the ensuing heart-warming discussion many kids had with their parents below.
To encourage families to spend more time together over the holidays, Jetstar is offering passengers flying on January 27 or 28 the chance to change their ticket for free until January 22. A few rules and regulations apply, of course, but the hope is that a few kids will think twice and decide to spend a little longer with the ones they love.
